SponsorSlice is a Chrome extension designed to automatically skip sponsored content in YouTube videos using AI technology. The Extension utilizes an external API to fetch sponsorship data and applies this information to skip segments of videos identified as sponsored content.

3. Use of the Service

User Responsibilities:

• You agree to use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• You will not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Extension.
• You understand that the Extension's functionality depends on third-party services and may not always function as intended.

Rate Limiting:

• The Extension implements rate limiting to prevent excessive API requests.
• Users are limited to 40 API requests per 10-minute interval.
• Exceeding this limit may result in temporary unavailability of the service.

4. Privacy and Data Collection

Data Collection:

• The Extension collects and stores video IDs of watched videos locally on your device.
• No personal information is collected or transmitted by the Extension.

API Usage:

• The Extension makes API requests to an external service (sponsorslice.com) to fetch sponsorship data.
• These requests include the video ID of the currently watched video.

5. Intellectual Property

The Extension and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SponsorSlice and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the AI-powered skipping functionality will be 100% accurate or effective for all videos.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SponsorSlice be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Extension.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by updating the date at the top of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SponsorSlice operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
